The Lord saved me from my sins at eighteen and I haven’t looked back since. (Phil 3:14) After serving five years in the military, the Lord led our family to Peru as missionaries, and then brought us back to the United States in 2015. Amber and I have two beautiful children: Patience and Isabella. When I’m not serving the church, I like to CrossFit, do jiu jitsu, read good books, and tell dad jokes.

I made a profession of faith in Christ early in my childhood. It wasn’t until the age of 34 that I realized my early decision had only brought about outward behavior changes but not a true heart change. As I began to form relationships with faithful believers in Christ through Bible reading, prayer, discussions, and discipleship, I truly grasped the magnitude of my sin and how that caused separation from a relationship with God. The sovereign grace of God provided by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus has saved me and caused my desire for, and my joy in God to increase. I pray that my life will be glorifying and pleasing to God and serve as a living testimony of what God has done. I married my beautiful wife Kelley in 2001, and we have five children (Elijah, Anna Katherine, Evan, Asher, and Andrew).

I was raised in a Christian home, but I did not come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ until I was fifteen years old. I still remember the sermon that confronted me with my sin against God. When I realized I was an enemy of God and that He still loved me with such a great love, I repented of my sins and trusted in him for my salvation. I married my high school sweetheart, Jackie, in 2017. I love reading theology, studying the economy, watching the Arsenal Gunners, and spending time with my church family.

For the first two decades of my life I considered myself an atheist, and was fervent in my rejection of God and the christian faith. In my early 20’s the Lord caused me to experience an overwhelming conviction of sin. In my distress, I turned to the bible, a book I had always rejected but never actually read. In the bible I learned who Jesus really is, repented of my sins, and trusted in him. I have been married to my wife Katherine since 2007 and we have two children. In my free time I enjoy hunting, jiu jitsu, and going fishing with my family.

I grew up in a Christian household and was saved at the age of 7 years old. Since then, God has been teaching me everyday what it means to walk with Him. I have an amazing wife Cate, and two beautiful children, Ruth and Michael.
